i received an upgrade to the crown metropol with a complimentary bottle of wine. the city view from my room was excellent. optus stadium was also visible from my window. parking and check-in were simple, even with many guests arriving.
The room i had lacked robes and extra toiletries. This was a slight letdown considering past stays.

the breakfast buffet offered many choices. market and co features pork belly, a dish i would suggest. the restaurant service was quick and the staff were helpful with my questions.

A mixed experience. Some issues noted.
disappointing viewuninterested staff
the view from my room was disappointing. i looked out onto the carpark, and i really wanted something better. the room itself felt basic and didn't encourage me to spend time there. also, the reception staff seemed uninterested and not particularly cute. it's their job to be friendly, but i seemed like i was interrupting them.
